Its OK...

About the same throw as Catapult Mini plus magnet & pocket clip. Just too many artifacts on the beam, must be the different design of the TIR lens.

Great pocketable TIR thrower

Got it in SFT-40, it makes a fatter hot spot than something like the DM11 or the IF22a but manages to be just as intense because the unique optic takes what would ordinarily be spill and tosses it all into the hot spot. Super efficient driver too, runs cool and long. No turbo, but this light is not about that, it's about finesse in an actually useful mid-range thrower that's not the same as everything else.

Superb small thrower

SFT 40 is a great medium throw LED better with the optic more concentrated hotspot. I got the 21700 tube but don’t use it I love the short tube too much. One day maybe I’ll try the 21700 but it’s a great compact torch as is. Would like a second small battery.

Love my T1R! Much better driver than similar lights.

Strong thrower with useful spill. Excellent finish, chargers quickly and button switches modes well. With the optional 21700 battery an excellent value. A quality flashlight.
