Wonderful combo with FFL505A LED

Finally, a high CRI stock thrower that also has great tint and colour rendering.
I would love to see a V2 version of this light with an equally wide head diameter but less deep, along with the updated button design of the newer generation lights. At the moment, my number 1 choice for a thrower by far.

Moonlight is super dim and very stable. Wonderful driver!

Thanks, fast delivery and impressive flashlight with the best UI. Very nice tint with FFL505A but not as bright as reclaimed …

Disappointed

I have regrettably found it necessary to raise my purchase of this light as an issue through Paypal. There seems to be a fault with the light and despite two attempts via email to engage Fireflylite Outdoor with regard to this issue, I have yet to receive any response from the company and the issue remains unresolved.

A mixed bag.

Pros:
-It has a small, very intense hotspot and probably throws really far if you're in a huge wide open space (but so do a lot of lights for far less money, such as the C8+ CSLNM1 for $20-$25 for example. Pencil-thin beam, but throws far.)
-Anduril 2 is always welcome
-Ergonomics/balance in the hand is pretty good
-Overall build quality seems excellent
-Efficient driver
-Doesn't seem to overheat the way many throwers do

Cons:
-It's a side switch light (I like tail switches better, but I can live with it.)
-The button. OH THAT DAMN BUTTON! It feels like pressing a rock. It just doesn't travel. This makes navigating Anduril much more difficult than it should be, because you can't tell when it registers a press. It feels downright unpleasant to push with your thumb. It's really, really bad. I'm amazed this button made it into the final product.
-The beam is VERY blue. At ramp ceiling, it measures 6846K on my Opple LMP. The CULPM1 emitter is supposed to be 6000K. It's noticeably bluer than my SFT40 and SFT70 lights. Weird. I guess I lost the LED lottery, although for $100+ one would expect a better bin.

Overall it's a mixed bag. I compared it outdoors directly with the L21B and L19 v2.0 with the exact same CULPM1 emitter, and I prefer both of those two lights because while they're all throwers, the others have a wider, more useful beam profile, buttons that actually travel so I can tell when they are pressed, the proper CCT CULPM1 emitter (~6000K) and the fact that they're tail switch lights.
